Excellent location with Super Friendly Staff!”
I stayed 13 nights here in early October. The location of the resort, at the far end of Long Beach, 200 meters or so near Sok San village, was spectactular. Given that it was still low season, there was virtually nobody on the white powder sand beach with aquamarine waters. The bottom was all sandy so no worryiing about cutting your feet on coral or rocks. The resort itself, I stayed in a Garden View room, is nothing fancy but it had all the necessary amenities: good AC, safe, hot water, quiet, and a minute walk to the beach. The restaurant prices are, of course, al little higher than the mainland, but that is to be expected anywhere where you are slightly isolate, notably on an island. The food, however, was excellent. I never had a bad meal my entire stay. The breakfast, although not buffet, was plentiful and delicious. You have several options for breakfast, and I think you can mix and match. The greatest part of this resort, however, is the staff. There were the best!

Gorgeous place with great staff”
Gorgeous beach and really comfortable rooms. Bed was a bit old but slept fine. AC rooms on the beach is also lovely. Food was pretty good at the resto and the staff were fantastic. Lucky was really nice and helpful. The boat getting there is a bit expensive 50usd per person for return directly to the hotel. But the cheaper option taking one of the other boats to the town. it's very long and hard work with lots of changes and still need a long walk or scooter with all you bags to the hotel. Overall fantastic stay and we will be back again!

Comfort in a secluded beach”
Very comfortable bungalow resort located in one of the best beaches of south east Asia. Don't expect luxury, the standard rooms could be a bit small, however, the fine design and materials of the interiors and the excellent level of service provided, largely counterweight any drowback. The price/quality ratio is decidely favorable. Not least, the private boat that pickup/dropoff from a private pier, with lounge facility, in a quite area of Shianoukville is a big plus. Highly recommendable.

Amazing hotel, remote but not isolated as you have the village next door. Difficult to get around the island, we hired a scooter but because of rain the roads were impassible. Staff in the hotel are outstanding, attentive without being overbearing. We stayed in the cheapest room type which was more than comfortable, clean well situated and perfect for our stay. Do not expect five star luxury, expect luxury beach huts. Highly recommended.

Loved it. Super attentive staff. Delicious restaurant. My ocean view room was right on the beach, just gorgeous. I was here in May, so it wasn’t too busy. Had no problem getting a sun chair at all. The bars are nice, open good hours. Very small village nearby, felt secluded but not remote. Good WiFi. Marine staff was excellent during boat transfers, even in a storm. Sadly the sea was too rough for us to see the bioluminescent plankton- but I would go here again given the opportunity in a heartbeat. Excellent choice to feel a luxurious beach retreat in Cambodia.

Wonderful stay in paradise ”
We arrived at this gorgeous hotel in a storm! Despite the cold winds we received a very warm welcome. Our children suffer from severe allergies, but the chef and staff combined ensured we all ate fabulous food, catering for all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. We ended up extending our stay by 2 nights as we enjoyed the place so much. Cute cabins for sleeping with a beautiful white sand beach. Tropical paradise and the ideal place to unwind. The room is clean. White beach. Good location Buffet breakfast is good Food&drink are expensive. From pier to sok san resort by 3 ways 1.Taxi boat 10$/person/trip 2.Taxi bike 10$/person/trip 3.Rent a bike 1 day 15$/bike. (recommand) But the road is not too much good.

A great place to relax and enjoy the beach”
It's a great place to enjoy the beach,Modern facilities, shower, air conditioning, wifi, no mosquito. Going out is a long beautiful white beach. The waiters can speak English. If you need Chinese service, you can contact Celeste Yang, a cute little girl who can make you feel at home.It is recommended to stay a few more days to fish and snorkel. And it is highly recommended to buy a ticket at the hotel（or hotel Web site), otherwise it will take an additional 45 minutes of taxi.

A small paradise close to sihanoukville”
The place is perfect to relax and enjoy a beautiful sea. The structure is very well organized, with helpful staff and very clean rooms. The quality of the food is really good, and offer a wide variety, between asian and other dishes. Highly recommended.

Came here after backpacking through SE Asia for three months. I wanted to treat myself, and was amazed with the crystal clear water, and how it was just the perfect depth. Clean white sand beaches, really good food, and very friendly accommodating staff. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful beach resort”
We initially wanted to explore the island but as soon as we arrived at Sok San Beach Resort with white sand and clear blue water, we were more than happy to spend the whole day on the beach relaxing. The resort is great and staff very friendly with some great food options. Would recommend exploring beyond the resort into the village for some great local restaurants. The Italian restaurant in the village is superb and highly recommend it. We also recommend the Island boat trip to the floating village, lunch at lonely beach (run by a french couple) & snorkling tour, great fun and our Guide Chhun was full of great information and had a great sense of humour. After you get over the shock of Sihanoukville, this is a great spot for a relaxing couple of days!

best affordable hotel in sok san, royal sand is only one better than here but price also..... nice beach and water, unfortunately I went in the rain season, happen to catch a big storm, with the waves fishing, snorkeling diving are not available, but brother are very helping.

I was there at the end of Nov and early Dec. Simply was gorgeous. The fact that we were about the only guests really helped. The image shot is just exactly what it looks like. Crystal clear and calm water like a glass at the time we visited. One improvement I would suggest would be a little brighter room. I saw this comment among the reviews before I visited and it was indeed too dark. Need at least one stronger light. Other than that, the staff was attentive and kind.

Perfect beach resort:) ”
We came to the resort with the idea to lay on the beach mfor maximum one day and spend the rest of the time exploring the island. We ended up staying in the resort for 4 days using the sunbeds:) The beach is really nice, resort has everything well prepared and mantained. Beach volleyball everyday at 5pm. Staff is cheerful and friendly, this is a perfect place to spend a quality time.
