Excellent Location and Spacious Apt”
We enjoyed our stay in Somerset Wusheng Wuhan, really worth the price, the location the spacious area and the free breakfast, everything is just perfect for us, I would definitely recommended to other people whoever visit to Wuhan. Lastly, i would like to suggest the free breakfast should include correct head count, not just give 2 free breakfast for 4 people room stay.

Nice Big Room, Good Location, Good Value”
Very Pleasant Stay in Somerset Wusheng Wuhan. Rooms were nicely appointed and big. Only problem was the kitchen which had poor ventilation, one would come out smelling like fried eggs after breakfast.

Super clean serviced residence”
I had a great time in this 5 star serviced residence. The price is soo cheap for all the amenities they offer there. Huge room, superb service. All the equipments in the room are first class. They even have a washing/ drying machine in the room, with washing detergent supplied every day. Shopping mall is right next door. ATM machine is down stairs. Receptionists speak perfect English, and very courteous and helpful. Cleaning staffs are very attentive and honest. Short distance to the Yellow Crane Tower, which is the top attraction in Wuhan. Taxi ride to there from the hotel is only 20 RMB. Taxi to and from the airport is about 80-100 RMB, and takes about one hour.

No non-smoking!”
I would recommend this place if someone would come to Wuhan, meaning that for Wuhan standards is very good. However, there's a couple of factors that doesn't make this place excellent: 1. The ventilation. Although there's clearly marked smoking and non-smoking floor, this condition isn't guaranty by the hotel. So you may be in a non-smoking-floor and still be visited by cigarette smoke in your room, either from the corridor or ventilation system. Moreover, the ventilation system isn't proficient enough to guaranty that other smells from neighbours won't come to your room (smells such cooking). Additionally, there are issues with ventilation as well in the connection of the hotel building and the mall. The hotel tries to mask this with perfume, but many times the perfume isn't enough. 2. The breakfast service. I strong advice to include this service in your package— it is not worth it. The breakfast service is provided by a third party in the mall. This third party offers no hygienic conditions to serve food or costumer service to match the hotel standards and price (e.g. although the breakfast is served until 10:00, by 9:15 the staff will remove from the tables essentials such as napkins, salt and pepper; also the offering of food will be reduced by the later you go). Notwithstanding, the hotel offered the best cleaning service I ever encountered— and I have been in many 5 star hotels in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, etc. Besides, the staff is very friendly and they try their best to be professional.

Almost perfect except breakfast ”
Location is strategic as it is inside capital mall level 7. Plenty of choices for food and subway just underneath the building. Room facility is fantastic for this price. Beside the very comfortable quality bed (most important element for me), the kitchen is fully equipped with high quality kitchen utensil, washing machine and microwave. Room is quiet for business traveller like me to rest without any disturbance. Internet speed is fast. The only thing disappointed is the breakfast. The food is lausy and condition is not.so hygiene. Strongly recommend this hotel to business traveller.

thks for upgrate my room . i unhappy all the time i booking room always have 2 breakfast but this time have one only. so both off us just having breakfast alone. if wanna have breakfast have paid . very2 unhappy this time. the hotel was nice clean service good. easy for transport n shopping. i will stay here again if i go wuhan china again.

Nice location and worth the price ”
Overall the stay was good. Just when I walked in to the bathroom, I saw a few obvious hairs in the sink, this should’ve been cleaned better. Breakfast is terrible and you can skip but I didn’t that when I booked the room. Also it’s in the same building of shopping mall, early construction going on in the mall bothered my sleep, it seems hotel staff were not able to control this. Other than these, I had good experiences here, it’s so convenient to have mall in the same building (food and shopping), Starbucks is right downstairs and entrance of metro station is right in front of the hotel. Staff are friendly too.

I Had an excellent stay. Rooms were big and nice! it had almost Everything you need on an apartment. Good value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is an Apartment type hotel built in a mall building. Buffet breakfast needs improvement Though. Good Pool and functional lobby.

Fantastic Room ”
I really like the room so much, Aircon, cleaners and bed are all unexpected good. Especially the high tech washing machine washed and dry by dirty cloth when I was out. Just beside the shopping mall, easy to settle dinner and metro station is just few step from the hotel exit.

NIce and Clean hotel”
The hotel is located together together with the mall. A lot of choices for food. There is Carrefour opposite the hotel that you can go via an underpass that is connected to the mall. There is a market behind the hotel which is open till evening. You can buy groceries to cook in the apartment

The apartment is absolutely nice. I had a very good two nights over there. The room is spacious, and facilities in the room is awesome. Definitely love the washing machine, helped me a lot during the trip. The kitchen equipments are great as well, huge fridge. However, the clean staff may move your stuffs, which made unhappy.

Good and clean hotel”
This hotel sits above a mall, thought it does not have a proper car drop off lobby, so need to be clear with the cabby, otherwise they will be lazy and drop you on the wrong side of the road. Hotel is very clean and well kept as with the Ascott group of properties. Very convenient too for business travellers.

disappointing”
I had a lot of expectation after browsing the review and somerset is quite a famous brand. 1/ staff no very polite, saying "SIGN" during check-in procedures, the same way a military officer would state. 2/ kitchen floor in the room was not clean 3/ washing machine was leaking heavily as the drain pipe was not inserted properly. Hopefully I noticed just before entering the shower otherwise the complete room would have been flooded.I spent 15minutes wipping the floor with all towels I had except one that I kept for myself. 4/ shampoo and soap quantity is obviously not sufficient. Especially if you are 2 pax. 5/ the room temperature was too warm, and a/c is not powerful at all, took half an hour to cool down (daily temp outside was around 23 deg that day, not particularly hot!). 6/ the hotel was still under renovation so the complete 19th floor corridor where i stayed was covered with blanket. 7/ some material is pretty cheap (bathroom door) 8/ i do not like the fact that the wifi asks you to set up a router and you have to manually decline otherwise you will not connect (with the laptop, fine with the phone). 9/ my window was facing the top of a overhead crane with spotlight all night long. 10/ even at this height, i can clearly hear the street noise as if the window was opened. 11/ breakfast was TERRIBLE: the entire floor was EXTREMELY sticky. So sticky I reduced my walk around as much as possible. The lack of choice was supportive in that perspective: no more orange juice, only old, hard white bread, only strawberry jam, no bowl, no warm milk, no fruits. 12/ I was let 10minutes locked outside my room as the lock was faulty; they have a strange system with automatic lock, not manual. 13/ after "breakfast" (cf 11/) - ie 6h40am - i requested to book a cab to the airport (FYI: 72 RMB) at 08h30. When I checked out at 08h20, they confirmed the taxi at 09h00...

Love the cleanliness, design of the room was normal and nothing to shout about. Location is great and very convenient with both restaurants as well as metro underground right in font of the property!! Staffs are friendly and well trained! The only thing if hard push is that the water pressure is a little low!!

it was a great value of money to stay for 2 night with two bed room with all the amenities that anyone with long travel would use like washer&dryer, kitchen, microwave and oven. all of them were in good condition especially the washer and dryer which i rarely see one in good condition and clean as the one in this hotel. room are big, bed sheet are clean but the problem was the carpet which had small fiber loosen from the carpet and they were all over on my kids clothes since most kids will play on the floor. breakfast was not so good there are not so much food to choose and the place where to have breakfast was under renovate floor which make the atmosphere looked bad and no air coditioner while the temperature were hot. staffs were nice and helpful.
