"Stayed at Steglitz during the peak of the heat wave in June-July 2019. To my surprise, only half of the room have air conditioning (Klimaanlage). This would normally not be a major problem in Berlin, except during a heat wave. I would have thought that 4-star hotels always have air conditioned rooms, but apparently the star rating in Germany is different than in other countries. Staff tried their best to help. They are efficient although not necessarily friendly. The manager (forgot his name) was very helpful, and eventually so were all staff. Just needed to adjust my expectations. The location near U- and S-Bahn and many bus lines is excellent. The Schlossstrasse shopping area is very attractive. There are enough restaurants near by for all tastes."

"Have stayed a number of times - and, personal taste, love the leafy tranquil location in Dahlem Dorf - only 10 mins into the centre, but all the benefits of a charming village. The hotel often has very good offers - and the rooms are modern, bright, comfortable and spotless - add to the relaxation. The buffet breakfast is great - and especially nice sitting outside in the courtyard if weather permits. Staff are great too. "

"This hotel located next to Berlin Wannsee station, just 18 minutes ride by train to Berlin HBF. Stayed one night in triple bedroom ensuite that faced the street and we enjoy our stay there very much. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, with toiletries and hair dryer available. Beds were comfy, no noise from train station that disturb our sleep at night. Room rate was cheaper than other hotel in Berlin, very good value for money. "
