Well worth the money and a great stay”
I met a lot of interesting people here, the rooms felt safe and drinks were cheap. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Franchesco. Also its close to two stations to go anywhere in Berlin, and there's plenty of stored and food places a short walk away. I definitely recommend staying here

We kind of accepted that sort of reaction in form of a bad review on your behalf. You were asked to wear a mask numerous times during your stay and permanently refused in doing so - although you were informed about the measurements that are implemented and valid for your stay upon arrival. When all that arguments did not go anywhere and you started to take photos of our staff instead, the final line was crossed and you were expelled from our house. Extremely rude? We do agree.

Very good place to stay”
The hostel is excellent. Rooms are spacious and staffs are really very helpful. It's a bit far from the city center which has both pros and cons. Both S Bahn and U Bahn stations are nearby though. The breakfast, however, I would suggest trying outside cafe. The breakfast at the hostel is very basic. Berlin has a lot of cafes to try out great breakfast menus.

The hostel is vrry worth staying considering the price it offers, especially "All you can eat" simple breakfast with 3 Euro. I bet I would stay there again if i go to Berlin next time. The only disadvantage woukd be the distance from the city centre, which takes around 20 minutes by metro

Cons: Location wasn’t the most convenient. Was on the east side which wasn’t very near the airport (west). Perhaps because I had already spent 3 nights in another hotel on the west side, and felt that having to travel from that hotel -> sunflower -> airport within 2 days was quite a hassle. Hostel was located within a residential neighbourhood,. 8 min walk from metro station. Not along a main road. While I think it would be fairly safe since it’s a residential area, it was also quite quiet at night. As a solo female traveller, I always felt a bit unsafe walking around the area at night (but it might be cos I only stayed for a night and haven’t warmed up to the area). Note that we also had to lay our own bedsheets. I’ve stayed in many hostels and this was the first time I had to do it myself... Pros: Big room, clean, friendly staff, luggage storage available, nice vibe However, I think you can find another place that’s more conveniently located, w a similar price

Really enjoyed my stay for what I needed this place for! 3 staff that stood out for me were the young New Zealand lady, the guy from Berlin who helped me break my locker open after I lost the key and the young guy from Berlin I think who gave me excellent directions on Monday morning when I was leaving!!!

Perfect hostel”
Me and my wife, together with 8, 16 year old girls stay here and from communication at booking and worries around would the girls be ok in their own rooms (not shared) everything was perfect. The other guests were great the staff were very helpful. The beer was cheap, the facilities were basic BUT it is a hostel not a 5 star hotel. 100% return here, strongly. Also U/S Bhan is close by. Fantastic!!

Great on a budget”
Great value, really cool interior. Perfect for young people on a budget. The staff really helped when my boyfriend lost his wallet. They let us cancel his cards on their phone... They provide lots of information for your first visit to Berlin, events, maps etc. Bathrooms are shared so make sure you are comfortable with that first. Bring earplugs as kids can be quite noisy.

Great stay for its price!”
Location is pretty good! It is like a 10 minute walk from the train station and near the East Side Gallery with lots of great food options nearby. The staff were nice and the place was clean. We got a room next to huge toilet with shower and it was great! It was super clean and the water was hot. The kitchen was next to our room also and kept clean with a large fridge to keep your food. The only thing was we had to pass through multiple doors with one of them having a keypad just to get to our room but it is see the extra security. Also, the bar area can get pretty loud, so it was good we had a room far back since we needed to wake up at 5am the next day. We didn't socialize in the bar, but there were lots on people so great chance to meet others and they have promos and deals for drinks. I would return!

Hostel is only a few walking minutes from S-Bahn Warschauer Strasse. Rooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately there are no lockers!! There is a communal kitchen and fridge. Staff was really nice and welcoming. Loved that there is a bar as well if you want to stay in

Different Standards”
Going through the reviews here, you will find people being excited about the great facilities and others complain there isn't even a kitchen available. They are all right, because in this hostel you find different standards. I stood in a 7-bed room for two nights. The room itself was ok,, but the outdoor showers only had lukewarm water on two consecutive days. The shower heads were very poor, spreading the almost cold water only sparsely. The whole bathroom was very mediocre designed. I did not see any kitchen in the whole area and neither any possibility to sit down outside of the dormitory. On the third night I changed to a 6-bed room and what a difference! Indoor bathroom with stylish design, proper working showers and lockable door. Outside an impeccable kitchen with all facilities you need. Really no reason to complain. In the end I just was amazed what difference a few bucks respectively the difference between a 6- and 7-bed dormitory make in this hostel.

The Location of hostel is close to the S-Bahn and the room was clean . We stayed there for 2 nights ,there’s no hot water for one of the night . Except hot water ,everything was good

Nice little room. Bathroom was right next door. We had a shower in the room. Beds were fine. Linen and Towel provided. Great breakfast! Would definitely recommend this room. It would be perfect for friends.

Firstly, there is no kitchen in the hostel. Although it was stated on the website that there is. I intended to prepare breakfasts and dinners by myself and reserved my room hoping that I will be able to use a kitchen. But it turned out that there is no such a option. I was really upset because I wanted to avoid additional costs in Berlin. Secondly, the floor was very noizy. There was noise almost in all rooms. Many drank hard liquor in rooms. Thirdly, taking into account the price I have paid my room was very disgusting: there was no cleaning in my room during my 8-day stay there. Fourthly, the builders began to work under the window in the very morning. If you are going to sleep till the midday you will be extremely disappointed. You will not be able to avoid the noise. Fifthly, the lockers in my room made terrible noise by oppening and closing and woke me and my neighbors. In short, I do not advise this hostel. It is totally horrible. Seek for an another accommodation.
