2nd staycation @Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel”
Staycation birthday treat for my cousin. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Balcony is also great for fresh air, except that it is blocked by a white building closely and so, no nice view. According to the website I booked the room from, there is a bath tub in the premier twin room but there is only a shower room actually. Location is excellent as it is so near to Clarke Quay with shopping and lots of eateries. The night scene along Singapore River is awesome. Hotel is very close to MRT stations and Chinatown. The staff members at the reception and restaurant are caring, friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is very well maintained. Overall, I had a great stay here. Thanks to all who attended to us during our one night stay here. Will be back soon.

Amazing Hotel”
The rooms were clean. Lots of toiletries. Great view of the pool and Clarke Quay from our room 548 (the cheapest room). They offer a range of pillows for complimentary use to suit everyone. The neck support one is fantastic. They also have robes and slippers for use. Room service was great, the à la carte menu in the restaurant was great and the food was delicious and while we didn't eat it the buffet it looked absolutely amazing! The pool was clean and stunning. Great for sipping cocktails. They have a cool waterslide too. Overall great stay - very happy!

Swiss hospitality at its best”
What really stood out during my 2 nights stay during the Lunar New Year was the ever-smiling staff and their speedy response to everything - from check-in/check-out to room service to the door man. During my visit, the coronavirus had infected four people in Singapore and it was very thoughtful of the hotel to place ample sanitizing dispensers at the lifts and lobby and other strategies places. Mind you, other hotels I visited during my holiday were not so generous with their sanitizers. We especially loved the swimming pool. It was well designed with a slide for the bigger pool and a separate slide for the children's pool. Because it was surrounded by the hotel building and planted trees, the swimming pool was shady till noon! Also, there were plenty of lounge chairs for everyone and towels to dry off. Right across the road is Clarke Quay Central with Don Don Donki and MRT at basement level. Room was within expectation although could have been "quieter". Still, a high recommend

Very spacious room, strategic location”
The hotel is just by Clark Quay MRT where it is very convinient for food and others. Walking distance to Clark Quay Central where all the night life bars/clubs are situated. Very accessible to Chinatown, Fort Canning Park, The Merlion, National Gallery and Musuem of Singapore etc. Very good for tourists who need to travel around the iconic places of Siangpore. The view is good as the hotel is situated beside the river. The staff are friendly to assist. 7-11 shop is just downstairs. They even provide a wifi traveller in the room for travelling usage. Amenities are fully equipped in the room.

Staff were prompt in answering queries pre-check in. On check in day itself, even though we had to wait a while before being attended to, the staff ensured that we were comfortable. Booked the premier king room and felt that it may be a tad too small for families with young kids. However, the facilities especially the swimming pool was superb as they had a waddle pool for my toddler. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I JUST WANT TO GIVE A TWO THUMBS UP TO THIS HOTEL. FROM MAKING US FEEL WELCOME THE MINUTE WE ARRIVED, TO SETTING UP A SPECIAL SETTING WHEN WE ARRIVED TO CELEBRATE OUR 30TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. THE CHAMPAGNE AND CHOCOLATES AND THE ROSE PEDALS PUT INTO A HEART SHAPE ON OUR BED ALONG WITH THE SWAN WE REALLY ABOVE AND BEYOND. NOT TO MENTION THE HOTEL WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED TO EVERYTHING WE HAD PLANNED TO DO DURING OUR VISIT BUT THE STAFF WAS AMAZING AND WAS WONDERFUL. I CAN'T WAIT TO COME AGAIN. Best service! Booked birthday staycation for my son's 4th birthday. They gave him complimentary cake and they call us for 3rd time if the cake was given or not. 😄 This hotel highly recommended. Big space, clean, friendly staff and good location. We will definitely comeback again. See you on June school holiday.

Very convenient & pool w/ slide”
for our short stay during this school break, this is just fits us so well as we not only enjoy the hotel & its amenities (pool w/ slide) but also just downstairs are so many attractions to see. The staff are all courteous & kind. The food is western & can be ordered through their given list. The rooms can fit up to 3 adults & when you book w/ your kids they provide for added bed for your comfort. The pool is just right size & irregular in shape w/ cascading water that is so nice to hear & also lovely for body massage. The pool also has a short but nice slide (just be careful for those smaller kids - as it drops onto the deeper side of the pool - kids should have adult w/ them or with floater vest). Ow maybe just for little improvement - to provide bidet in the bath - as we always need that. other than that, I love the design of bath that is design luxurious even w/ limited space. See you all again!

Good location , front desk staff are friendly, room is clean and cozy, the restaurant market place has a new look with good breakfast especially the omelette is so well cooked and appealing. The chef at the egg station is preparing the eggs with his heart. Will consider going back in the next trip to Singapore.

Great stay with Swissotel hospitality! Swimming pool has a slide & waterfall.. Room seems newly renovated though the hotel has been there for quite long. Parking is complimentary & convenient. Food is not halal, Central mall is just next door. They accomodated to request for bathtub and even prepared extra bed for my 4yo. Highly recommended for family staycays.. Staff are very attentive & helpful.. You will feel welcomed & will still have the privacy you need. Will return for a 2nd staycay!

This is the second time we have stayed here as it is in an extremely well positioned for getting around the to various places of interest. On arrival we were upgraded to a different room and we were well accomodated on our early arrival and we were advised when or room was available , nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the friendly attitude was very good. We will definitely stay at this Hotel again on our next trip to Singapore 👍👍👍👍

Good central location. Easy walk to China town. Right next to the river and Clarke Quay so lots of great night time eating options. Great being able to use the pool facilities after checking out before heading to the airport for a late flight out. Made all the difference for us!

Stayed here to celebrate my niece's birthday. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is located adjacent to The Central Mall and Clarke Quay station. At night, we wandered in nearby Chinatown area. I didn't include breakfast in our hotel so we had it in the mall. We enjoyed the pools so much. There were kiddie and 'adult' pools, both with slides. The room was clean. We also loved the complimentary fruits, cookies and chocolates. Will definitely come back here.

We are a family of six. Not all hotels in Sg has rooms with double beds so here is just perfect to book 2 rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly and caring. The hotel is beautiful and serene. My kids love the pool so much. The water slide is a hit. We have been here twice and will definitely come back again
