Nice hotel in a superb location (for the Taj Mahal)”
This hotel is just 350m from the Taj Mahal East Gate, which means that you can book your e-ticket online and walk straight to the gate and be first in line as there is no need to go to the East Gate ticket office. The rooms were spacious and clean with hot water (if you remember to turn the water heater on). The staff are nice and friendly, in particular Singh (who speaks the best English) who is excellent. He arranged for a brilliant tuk-tuk driver who lives down the road to drive us around for a very reasonable price. They have a nice rooftop which you can eat. The food is pretty good and surprisingly the chips (fries) were outstanding. Honestly some of the best i've had anywhere! There is also a purified water dispenser in the corridor so you can top up your water bottles. There is a pool but it isn't really one you would use as you have to get to it via the hotel reception area and there isn't an area to dry off. In the height of summer however it may prove useful. WiFi is available but only good for one device in the room. The only real negative for the hotel is something they cannot really do anything about, which is the area in which it is located. Whilst it is walking distance to the Taj, Taj Ganj is dirty and smelly. Despite there being air freshners in the room, the smell of outside was still strong, and it is also noisy. I would recommend getting some earplugs and some incense, but this would be the case for every hotel in the area bar the Oberoi, Radisson or Courtyard perhaps. However the hotel is excellent value and i would receommend

The two taxis we took there didn't know how to find the place, but once there it was great. A short walk to the Taj Mahal. A restaurant with a very attentive fellow serving breakfast. Clean room, hot water, pleasant stay. They booked us a taxi back to Delhi, and we paid through the hotel, which cost a bit more than it would have through Ola, and then the taxi driver stopped somewhere for half an hour on the way to eat lunch, which was annoying, but less annoying than the Ola driver that took us to Agra, who kept trying to cheat us by charging us more and more things. Good hotel, don't use their taxi recommendations.

The guys who run this hotel are all gentlemen, wanting to assist as much as possible. Visiting during the demonitization problem, we visited 8 ATMs without success, trying to find cash- the Taj ticket office doesn't accept cards! Staff tried going online & getting tickets, phoned the ticket office, did everything to help.Finally located a moneychanger and got some notes to buy tickets. Going in the West gate was faster than the East gate they advised, despite proximity to ticket office- lots of people line up at the East gate. Good advice. Room was clean, well appointed, not luxury but well appointed. Breakfast was big, quickly prepared and tasty. What more could you ask? Their friendly tuk tuk driver Vicky was lovely, knowledgable, and cute. Thanks for everything guys. Keep doing what you are doing. Happy 2017

Arrived early morning and left our bags at the hotel whilst we explored the Taj and Agra, staff were happy to help and direct. WiFi access was good. Bathroom in the room is a little small but otherwise well appointed. Bed was comfortable and in a quiet street. Breakfast was fruit, omlette and toast with tea and coffee, not a huge amount but still very good value overall

The rooms were clean, and the bathrooms had hot showers. The location is about a 10-20 minute walk to Taj Mahal. We left at 6am in the morning. We woke up the guy at the front to open the front gate. If you plan on having breakfast, it is served from 7:30 to 10am. The staff seemed nice but ask around as they gave as an inflated quote on a taxi to Delhi. But the hotel was nice for the price. I would recommend.

Located very near to Shilpgram where you can purchase the entrance ticket to Taj Mahal (walking distance) . Food is good, so dont bother eating out as there is not much options outside. Good variety for breakfast, we skipped lunch after having a heavy breakfast. Value for money for a short stay

Watch the Sunset From the Roof”
We loved this hotel. It was very easy to find from the main road (just follow the signs) and we were greeted enthusiastically by the staff. We booked the standard room and were on the first floor. I was a bit disappointed at first because our room did not have a window to the outside, but it was very clean. We asked them about having tea and the owner (I think) suggested that we check out the rooftop. The view at this place is amazing. We chose to have dinner on the roof and it was delicious. They normally only sell beer, but when we asked about wine, they offered to run to the shop and pick up a bottle of Sula for us! As the sun sets, you can hear the call to prayer from various mosques and it felt very surreal. This is definitely a budget hotel, but it is very clean and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.

A reasonable place to stay”
Location is great, close To Taj Mahal and shops but off the main road so nice and quiet. Staff were obliging when asked for help but hung around for a tip which was a but awkward. The room was fine - AC, fridge and hot water worked but fridge was a bit dirty and so were the table cloths in the restaurant. FYI: if you are planning to go to the Taj very early in the morning, make sure you let reception know... we left the hotel at 5.15am to watch the sunrise but the gate was locked so we had to jump over it!

This was a great hotel close to the Taj Mahal (about am 8 minute walk) and close to some other restaurants. I booked it because of the location and because it had a pool, although I did not end up using the pool because there wasn't really an area around it to sit in, it's more just for swimming. Similarly, I tried to sit on the roof and have a beer but I was told first that it was too hot and I should sit inside, and then that they had no beer. The room was nice tho.

We had a nice stay at Taj Haveli Agra. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff could improve how they handle guests that checkin late at night. We were woken up in the middle of the night by staff and guests shouting at one another.

Good location walking to Taj”
Everything was perfect except two points. We reached after 2:30 noon still rooms were not ready. We went during full moon day and there is a restriction of vehicle Movement during night. We had to struggle and find a different route to hotel. This could’ve been informed by hotel. As police incharge was mentioning that hotels should inform their guest.
