The hotel supports early check-in, which is something I really like because after a long drive, I need to rest immediately. My room is spacious and comfortable. However, the mini bar only has 2 complimentary bottles of water, and there are no other beverages in the fridge. So if you want to drink something else, you'll need to go buy it yourself. The toilet and bathroom are separate. However, one of the rooms has a silicon smell. Nevertheless, both are very clean. The hotel is fine, but breakfast is something I was warned about beforehand. And indeed, it disappointed me a bit because it doesn't match the price range of 2.5 million VND or more per room per night. At this price point, other hotels would offer a more varied breakfast. Additionally, breakfast starts at 7 AM here, so I noticed some families who woke up at 6 AM couldn’t eat, and I felt the same way. At other hotels, breakfast is served from 6 AM, so I'm used to that. In summary, if you ask me if my experience here was good, I would say it was good. But if you ask if I would return, I'd say it's 50:50 because I would prefer to choose a different option.
This is my first time checking in at The Clay with my family. Staff: The staff - everyone is very enthusiastic, cheerful, and dedicated, with a check-in waiting area for guests, welcome drinks... Rooms: We booked 2 types of rooms 1 room with a garden view that has a bathtub in a spacious room 2 pool view rooms that step right out to the pool, very convenient. Service: The service is very good, there is a breakfast buffet, with a diverse range of food that suits the taste of someone from the Mekong Delta like me. View: The Clay has 3-4 swimming pools, so you can swim comfortably, and there is a private beach that I found to be very clean and not crowded at all. Price: I booked on Agoda, the price for a single room for 2 people is about 1.5 million VND. I recommend everyone to come and experience it!
I have stayed for two nights at The Clay Resort and here are some of my remarks: Pros: - The resort is located on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, within the pick-up range of limousine services from Ho Chi Minh City. - The staff is very professional and dedicated, right from my arrival, helping to carry luggage to the room, calling us when the car arrives, and assisting with taking the suitcase to the car. - The restroom and shower have been greatly improved compared to previous reviews, with a good ventilation system, keeping the restroom always airy, clean, without smell, and separate shower and toilet areas. - The room on the second floor has a nice view of the pool. - The mattress is very comfortable and pleasant. - The private beach has beautiful sand, and the restaurant is right by the beach, making for a chill dining experience. - The food at the restaurant is reasonably priced, with a diverse menu, allowing for a nice dining experience. - The buffet has many dishes. - Walking around a bit, there are many eateries, with seafood and street barbecue, coconut ice cream for those who enjoy authentic experiences. - Due to being in a hurry, I didn't book the jeep tour in advance, but later booked through the hotel; the tour was at 4:30 AM, and the quality was okay. The jeep driver was nice, helpful with taking photos, and recommended climbing comfortably. - The pool is beautiful, lit up at night, and I see staff cleaning it every day; swimming in the pool is one of my favorite experiences here. - There are many spots for taking pictures. On the downside: - The room is a bit smaller than originally imagined at 30m2. - The slippers were already broken, initially making it necessary to shuffle around. - The sink is a bit small and not very convenient for cleaning; even though I was careful, water still splashed outside and got my clothes wet. - The view from the room opens to the pool; rooms opposite often have people swimming all day, so it can be a bit noisy; anyone needing privacy should choose their room carefully. - The location is a bit far from the city center, over 10km from surrounding tourist attractions, Novaworld is over 30km away. - Soundproofing could be better, but during my stay, it wasn't too noisy and didn't affect our experience. - I wish there was a bathtub. - The air conditioning and ceiling fan only get cold when using a blanket.

“Excellent”
The resort's outdoor scenery is beautifully decorated and well-arranged. The prickly pear plants planted in the sand are very beautiful. The resort's grounds are not too large, so walking around doesn't feel remote or tiresome like larger resorts. There is an infinity pool, a children's pool, and private pools in some rooms. The swimming pool is clean. There is also a hydro massage pool. Many great spots for taking photos. The beach is clean and beautiful; I visited during the sunny season, so the water is very clear. The waves are moderate, making swimming enjoyable. The room I stayed in has two large rectangular frosted glass windows to let in natural light, helping the room to be brighter. However, the downside is that at 5 AM, the room is as bright as outside, making it hard for me to sleep in longer. The staff here are enthusiastic and friendly, helping guests willingly. In the evening, I asked for an extra blanket, and a staff member brought it and guided me on how to use it. In my opinion, the bed is a bit small and low. It would be suitable for families with children. However, for a family sleeping in one bed, it could be quite cramped for three people (2 adults and a 4-year-old boy). The room is spacious. The room I rented is upstairs, with a balcony overlooking the private pool. Another downside is that the bathroom is designed a bit cramped compared to the room size; the bathroom door is quite difficult to close and a bit inconvenient. The pillows are very soft. Very soft indeed. I always bring my own pillow while traveling to sleep easily, but this time I didn't need to use mine. The free water in the room comes in small bottles, which I find a bit inconvenient. After being out in the sun, two adults can finish two bottles of water after just a couple of sips. The resort is still quite new, so everything is very beautiful and clean. However, I don't know why, but at night, the path from the reception to my room has a very unpleasant smell, like sewage. It’s fine during the day. I mentioned this to the reception when I checked out. The restaurant uses fans and opens windows for natural ventilation, but I find it quite hot; I had to bring a handheld fan to use while having breakfast. I would prefer a restaurant with air conditioning or a design that helps with heat if it is utilizing natural airflow.
