Friendly staff, good location”
Pros : Superb friendly staff, even after checkout helped with keeping our luggage till our onward train journey in the evening. Good location with lot of food and transport options nearby. Nice big comfy bed. Cons : Needs a bit of renovation, the rooms show its age. Overall a good short stay hotel with good pricing.

The location of the hotel is super good. It connects u to railway station, hospital and airport with less travel time. The only thing that was not pleasing is the fact that they dont encourage booking much because of the discounted price. They expect 3k for a deluxe room or a superior room.

Good face with bad core”
On the face of it it looked like I have got the bad deal but then it went all south. There was no wifi throughout our stay when we specifically chose this to do work from home.. to add to woes.. the whole hotel was not catching mobile signals properly so I was not even able to connect and work via hotspot as well.. they charged about 1000 for early checking which is unusual and then also they gave a very shady room which was dirty dingy, room was not cleaned..bathroom was dirty with dirty laundries still there and no toiletries. After almost half day gone and with our constant complaint they finally shifted to another room but the phone lines were not working, restro was closed and it became a nightmare as we could not have minor snackibles within the hotel and we had to ultimately check out to some other hotel on same day.

I travelled in April 2022. The first night there was movie shooting going on all night and I couldn't sleep. Staffs are not caring at all. Not clean and doesn't feel like safe.

A decent hotel with very friendly service ”
It is a 24-hour check-out hotel, which means that if you need to check out at 23:30 at night (like we did because most flights from Chennai to Europe are departing in the early hours) you can simply check in at 10 or 11 pm and then do not have to pay for an extra night. The receptionist gave us an extra 2 hr grace time. Importantly the hotel is in relatively quiet street and moreover most rooms look out into a quiet courtyard so you can enjoy good sleep. The buffet breakfast is quite good. One drawback is that you need to ask for everything which is not on the food counter (like scrambled eggs of fruit). Everything is included in the price but you don't know what else is available if anything at all. You just notice that some guests are having, say porridge, and than you start asking if you could have it as well. If you order a taxi from the hotel - make sure you insist that it should be a regular metered taxi. We discovered (in the middle of the night) that instead of a taxi we had a private car and the driver charged us twice as much (and naturally wanted even more).

Decent place to sleep for area”
It was ok. Most hotels in this area are overpriced. The room was somewhat dingy but decent to stay in for a cheap sleep in Chennai. The wifi was supposedly free but we could only get it to work on 1 of our 3 days there (despite numerous attempts of talking with the front desk and the manager.)

Kings Hotels has good location But the room atmosphere and cleanliness is not that good specifically for family and those who travel on personal work better look fab hotel. The room had clear presence of cigarette smell, alcohol and room doesn't have a window to view out and there is no way breath fresh air(in my room). And bathroom are fine and there is paint smell around the dinning hall and there some painting works going on so it was ok. Those are planning for fun travel and alcohol is also your favorite there is bar so you can enjoy and the hotel is in egmore where near to railway station using metro will not be a problem. This hotel is only suits for one or two day stay this hotels is only for group of people are planing to enjoy. Breakfast wast good but sambar was bad other than that food is good.

the stay was comfortable.the hotel staff was very cordial and nice.the food is good during breakfast.and also we ordered for dinner and it was fast in response.overall i would recommend this hotel for staying.its near malls and railway station.
