A nice hotel with good facilities situated at a very elegant part of Berlin. The level of cleaningless and service are very high and the staff is very polite and helpful .It is however a bit expensive as compared to similar hotels in other European countries.

over-priced 1-start hotel experience”
we had 2 contiguous bookings; during the first booking, we were put in an older but larger room. It was very old, dark, everything was old. The curtains cannot be closed at night! so you cannot sleep in if next day is sunny. then when we moved rooms for our 2nd booking, hotel staff first told us they will bring the luggage to the new room for us. But then when we came back in the eve, it did not happen. And it turned out they gave us a room in the middle of a gaming conference, right opposite the gaming room, with a service station set up right outside in the hallway outside of our room, which will be incredibly loud at night! The staff never mentioned that to us. Also food at the hotel is awful; there is no much facility except a gym that you have to walk a long way to find.

Lovely Hotel With Excellent Service ... until check out”
We had six lovely days at the Westin Grans Hotel. The service was excellent, in particular the room and the breakfast was first class. In summary, we were very happy with the hotel and what we had paid. Until check out the staff had been brilliant. However at check out, the hotel charged us again for city tax, despite our booking confirmations showing clearly this had been paid in advance along with the full cost of the reservation for bed and breakfast. This was queried with the hotel who insisted that this had not been charged despite our confirmatory paperwork. We will be taking this up with Agoda when the duplicate charge is claimed through our credit card statement. Initially we were also asked to pay for beer from the mini fridge but to be fair this retracted when we assured them that we had used nothing from the fridge.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of Berlin. Excellent property, absolutely clean and brilliantly maintained rooms and facilities, comfy bed, friendly staff, and a very tasty breakfast and meal options. Cracking value for money for the deal I got on Agoda. 5/5.

Westin Grand Berlin”
Excellent location - close to transport and major sightseeing. Hotel was well equipped and of a high standard. Would definitely stay there again if in Berlin. Only downside was lack of free wifi in the rooms which was a major detraction. Food and lounge prices also very high but probably normal for this standardof hotel.

All's wonderful as a real 5-star hotel except...”
Everything's wonderful as a real 5-star hotel supposed to have. everywhere in Westin has a light nice fragrance which brings people relaxing feeling. There are only two things that are kinda painful. Firstly, they don't have free wifi except a tiny lobby area (bar lounge) which once you sit there you're kinda need to buy something. it costs 15 euro per day. Secondly, the spa is not free to use as well which is not clear to a lot of people. it costs another 8 euro per day.

The concierge was excellent---helpful, courteous and went out of his way. The location is excellent and the hotel is very well run. Berlin is expensive so this was to be expected but I would stay there again and again.

Unfriendly staff 酒店员工不友好”
I checked in at the hotel at mid night. I don't know if the reception staff were tired after a long day or what. The male staff pretended not to see me. The female staff looked cold and was really impatient when I asked her questions. My first reaction was that, did I get the wrong hotel? This is Westin? No any other Westin hotel is as bad as this one in Berlin. The hotel infrastructure is old. Internet is not included in $188 of the room fee and extra 15 euro if you want to use Internet. Breakfast? Another 30 euro! I booked the Garden Deluxe Room by paying extra $17 to expect a good garden view. That was a bad decision because the garden has just trees and a little pavilion. Yes, I am just a tourist. They might not bother at all if I will be a returning customer. Job well done!

Great hotel and perfect location!”
We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable! The staff are lovely, approachable and very attentive. The bed was amazing and after several stays at average hotels along our trip it was good to sleep at a Starwood hotel with a heavenly bed! Our only negative note is that the air conditioning was not working very well and you had to pay for the internet.

Would you recommend The Westin Grand Berlin to a friend? Yes, but”
Early check-in was requested with twin beds, seems the hotel was not made aware of this. Trying to check-in at 11am the reception staff offered an upgrade to a Garden view room with an additional €20 per night surcharge. The view from this first floor room was of of a flat roof with ventilation and extraction outlets from the kitchen and a car park. The garden was in the distance beyond. This room was rejected, and the room actually reserved would not be available for a few more hours. The quiet room requested and finally allocated overlooked the construction site on Unter den Linden, it was fortunate that it was the weekend. Breakfast buffet and room service were both good and the room was spacious and well maintained. The free Wi-Fi in the reception area was virtually impossible to use, and it was necessary to purchase Internet access at €15 per 24 hours.
