Hotel not in Tourist area!”
Had a bad experience. went for breakfast 15 mins before cllosing time. Sharp at 9.30 am the lights went out and the coffee machine switched off. No invitation to say please go for last round of coffee or what else, you want. Saw the lady manager mopping the lobby floor, othere just looked on. This is in a local area and not many can speak english. This is not really a problem as can still communicatee and use sign language. Things cheaper here. Beware that there are not many taxies plying around, so please book a taxi in advance, and hang on to him by taking his mobile number to get picked up, after your sight seeing. A good experience for those who want a taste of China China! Stay at Tomolo.

Check-was swift, the rooms were nicely designed... not too small. The location is eh. Wuhan isn't exactly the most dazzling of Chinese cities. The hotel is convenient enough to the major sites of the city.

of all the many hotels i have stayed in in asia, the staff in this one really "stood out on their own", right from my greeting and departure by the porter, the exceptional staff on the front desk, the restaurant and even the house keeping staff. nothing ever seemed a problem for them and they "did it with a smile". i was sure made welcome at their hotel. thankyou to them all.

Comfortable after initial problems resolved”
This is an interesting boutique hotel. But, the rooms are not all equal. My first assigned room had an open bathroom plan with the sink facing a window and no mirror provided anywhere within 5 feet of the sink. When I said I needed a room with a real bathroom and a sink with a mirror I got moved to another room promptly, but this time one that had a heavy smell of cigarette smoke. The next day I asked to be moved to what I discovered was the 6th floor reserved for non-smoking...but it was full. So, they moved me to a room that had just been completely redecorated and painted and was mostly devoid of smoke. However, because the hotel has a central air system, over the next two days the smoke from other rooms flowed into my room. Also, the hallway was very noisy at night with the slamming of doors by other guests late at night. So, yes, this is a 4 star hotel potentially, but you need to be sure to let the hotel know in advance what kind of room you need. The location is so-so, the subway line is a good 10 minute walk away and the surrounding shops are light industrial type. A lot of development is going on at the far end of of the street from the hotel. English capability of staff ranges from none to very basic. All this said, I would stay here again!

A wonderful stay in an outstanding hotel. the shower was marvelous. That is always important to me. The food is of a very high quality and choice is good. The location allowed me to visit markets and see Chinese people in there day to day environment. I would recommend and stay here again.

Relaxing”
I am quite satisfied with the hotel for its cleaniness, close proximity to shopping and restaurants. But I feel they should also improve the ambience for their restaurant as well as the breakfast they serve. Smoking are allowed in the lobby making non smokers feel irritated despite no smoking signs there. There are no bathtubs in the room, however it was indicated in the room feature when I book it. Lastly, a safe box should include in the rooms as well. Certainly doesn't feel like a four star, more like a 3 star. I would still recommend this hotel for the cleaniness and nice room ambience.

nice room and good location, wifi and lan is available, fruits, coffee, tea(red and green) available. the only bad thing is that the air con is centralised, therefore you can't control the air con even though there is a control system.

The King Bed was nice and comfy and it is worth noting that there are plenty of lights (downlight) in the room to keep it bright no matter which spots you are in (on the bed, working on your laptop on the desk). There is also a restaurant on ground floor so it is very convenient for both breakfast and dinner

The hotel is located at an old local district, even taxi driver is unfamiliar with the area. Facilites and transportation is not travelers friendly. Breakfast is very so-so. If coffee is important for starting a brand new day, you should bring your own coffee packs. Local people advise that it can be entitled to a much better accommodation at the same room rate.

When we arrived at our room (we had booked a King Bed) it was tiny and the bed was a "full-size" not king (USA standards, but I think this is universal). Called the front desk and they stated this was their largest bed. Don't be fooled by the photos. The bathrooms are also tiny

Good Value for the Money”
I planned to stay for only 2 days but ended up staying for 5 days. The rooms are a bit small but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast the provide is a bit bland but I guess you can't really complain because it is free. Overall, it is well worth the money.
