Hotel near beach & cafes”
It was just satisfactory. The bedroom was large as was the bathroom. The balcony was also a good size & had a nice outlook. The fridge didn't work,neither did the tv (not that we would've watched it but it was advertised). There was no hot water (despite being told there was) and the bathroom door didn't close. All these issues were reportedt to the management but none were fixed while we were there (3 nights). WiFi was only available in downstairs (3flights) lobby. The pool,located on the adjacent property, was filthy (we paid to use another hotels pool. The hotel was clean enough & the staff were pleasant but commhnication was not easy.

Room was big with good storage, kind of reminded us of a hospital room. Bed sheet could have done with a fresh clean and the bath didn't have a plug, so no bath. But clean, with friendly, attentive service.

Le plus minable”
Chambre sale, draps sales et tachés. Porte du balcon ferme mal, verrou à moitié arraché. Eau chaude 1 fois sur 2. Pas de produits de toilette, pas d’eau en bouteille. Clim et ventilateur très bruyants, tournent au maximum, impossible de les régler. Envahi par les moustiques, aucune moustiquaire. Pas d’internet. Pas de restaurant ni piscine, il faut aller au Rainbow qui se trouve de l’autre côté de la route. Pas de massage, il se trouve dans un autre hôtel à 50m autant prendre. La photo sur le site Agoda, du bâtiment avec la piscine, correspond à l’hôtel d’en face, peu de chambres, celle avec balcon/terrasse est au Moonlight, mais seulement 4 chambres. La piscine est délabrée, herbes dans les joints du carrelage, chaises longues cassées, seulement 3 matelas pour 6 chaises. Nous avons quitté cet hôtel après la première nuit.

Плюсы: в отель можно заехать на транспорте, а не переть чемоданы по набережной. Очень большой балкон с красивым видом в номере "делюкс", симпатичный бассейн с лежаками, но через дорогу. Своя парковка. Холодильник в номере. Завтрак средний, континентальный. Белье чистое, кровать удобная. Минусы: гор. вода нерегулярно. Общее. Пляжа в Коваламе практически нет, узкая полоска черного песка с допотопными лежаками. Все отели расположены под горой, получается такой закрытый анклав с дорогущими ценами, а вверх может подняться только подготовленный человек. Этим пользуются торговцы и таксисты. например : ананас вверху 50 рупий, а у отелей 150. и так на все. Пляжи в округе все загажены рыбаками и местным населением. Мы брали байк и имели возможность все осмотреть и сравнить. Итог- Ковалам мы навсегда вычеркнули из жизни , как страшный сон. Аюрведа нас не интересовала, мы простые пляжники.

Ett helt okej hotell. Hyfsat rent och helt. Bra tryck i duschen. Jag sov i en extrasäng som visade sig vara en madrass på golvet, dock en skön madrass. Balkongen var stor och fin men omöjlig att sitta på eftersom stolarna var så otroligt obekväma. Frukosten som var helt okej var på hotellet mitt emot. Likaså poolen. Poolen var smutsig och solsängarna trasiga och så smutsiga och fulla med myror att de inte gick att använda. Personalens gästvänlighet varierade. Det finns säkert både bättre och sämre hotell i Kovalam.
