Great Hospitality & Service at Vi Vadi Hotel Bayer 89”
I had initially booked my stay at Vi Vadi Hotel Downtown Munich for my maiden trip to Munich. Due to the tense situation brought upon by COVID, the hotel was closed during Christmas season and the reservation agent contacted me to inform of housing me at their other hotel at Bayerstraße 89; the transfer was smooth and fuss-free. Upon reaching Vi Vadi Bayer 89, my request for early check-in was met with, and even got upgraded to a double room! 🥰 The room is clean and bed is comfortable. But some things to note, (i) for those who are used to memory foam/ hard pillows like me, may struggle with their soft pillows.😄 (ii)The space behind the room door is narrow and I struggled slightly with my 25" luggage, due to the placement of the wooden cabinet. Generally, it is a great 3 star hotel for the its price and amenities. [Tips for Asian travellers who love your drinks hot, bring a travel size kettle to boil water as none provided in the room.] Location wise, it is perfect! Turn left from hotel, you have a tram stop, where #19 heading toward Berg am Laim will take you to Marienplatz. If you prefer to take a walk, turn right from hotel entrance, and you will find yourself at Munich Hauptbahnhof. Food options: To the right of the hotel, there is a Gaststätte Bavaria where you could try out authentic Bavaria meals. Within the hotel, there is also an Italian restaurant, OTTANTANOVE. To the left of the hotel, there is a Turkish restaurant, Sultanahmet Koftecisi. All in all, a great place to stay during my 2.5 weeks in Munich and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I am definitely returning to book my stay at Vi Vadi Bayer 89 for my next visit to Munich!

Great Hotel in Munich, nice big rooms”
The hotel is easy to find. Near the bus and train station. I was surprised that my room is big because I just booked a single room and it is also very modern. It has a kitchenette with microwave and ref. The bathroom was nice too. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again. Thank you!

Enjoyed our 5 nights there! Location was superb! It was - about 5 mins walking distance from Hauptbahnhoff. - 5 mins walking distance from Rewe and Aldi Süd. - 5 mins walking distance to Luftansa airport bus stop straight to airport. Cleanliness was great with daily cleaning provided. Room comes with microwave, small kitchen & kitchem sink with some basic utensils. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft to our liking. However they kindly provided us with extra pillows. WiFi was decent. Bathroom was on the small side. But it was still comfortable with great water pressure and heat from the shower. Overall, it is really difficult to find fault with this hotel! 10/10!

The staffs are so kind, although I have a problem to check-in, but by the help of staff and manager all things get set. everything is great and clean. and it's a quiet and pleasant place.

This was my first time travelling to Germany from Malta for holiday so I didnt know alot of things and I also had alot of expectation. A very good hotel overall”
Hotel is clean and very conveniently located in the heart of Munich. My room has a loft with a retractable opening at the roof, which is exciting for the children. It is near the main train station and 3 minutes away from a very good breakfast place (Califonia Beans). It is also directly opposite a multstorey carpark where you can collect the rental cars.

The room comes with a kitchen, though no pot to cook. There is microwave oven, kettle, cutleries. One small flaw is that the heating in the room is not very hot.

We had a great time at Munich, the hotel was near public transportation, we noticed that this place doesn't have an AC, luckily when we went there it was cold, we just opened the window. but overall the room was spacious.

Small but have all the essentials. ”
The room is not huge but it’s got everything u need including a kitchenette. A heater in the room and not just in the bathroom would be better. Only thing that I wasn’t entirely satisfied would be that my kettle was really dirty like oxidized with white deposits everytime I tried boiling water. Tried cleaning many times but still couldn’t get rid of it. And there wasn’t spare ones to change.

Was a very well laid out room with plenty of space, We had 2 large bags plus a large double ski bag with plenty of room to spare. Had a small kitchen a small table & lounge. Our room was on the 3rd floor to the rear of the building and super quite. Would highly recommend Vi Vadi downtown Munich
