Foreigners should read, at least speak chinese, otherwise they can't communicate. Stuff very kind, but can't speak english. Very little tourist informations, in chinese only. Longer discusion until we got single bed room.

The Three Kingdom”

1) The counter staff knowledge of English is poor, unable to comprehend what's stated in the travel voucher. 2) Generally, the floor staff were helpful. 3) Room clean up comes rather late, towards the later part of the afternoon when coming back from a day's trip in Xiangyang.

A Generous and Friendly Hotel”

Although the hotel is just 300m from Xiangyang Station, the food choice was limited, especially at night. Though the staff did not speak much English, they were very friendly and also gave us breakfast without us paying anything extra. We booked only two standard rooms with double bed, but the rooms we got was very big with living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. The housekeeper gave us new towels and all the amenities everyday. The room condition was quite old and the mat smells. The room did not seems to be serving many guests that when I first turn on the bath tub tap, there was dirt coming out from it. I got a room next to the elevator and there was a suspicious door in the bathroom that did not make my stay so comfortable.

Great Bed”

I thought the bed in this hotel was particularly luxurious, with four big fluffy pillows (and a menu to select others if I wanted). The room itself was great, with a wee chaise longue to lay about on as well as a decent sized desk and good chair. It had a marbled entrance then regular carpet. The TV was flatscreen but the only English language was CCTV News. No problems with wifi, including through my VPN. Check in and out was entirely without drama - I don't think the fellow had much English but he was kind and helpful. Be aware that a deposit will be required - I paid 200 Yuan. Breakfast was included but a bit lacklustre. The hotel is just two blocks up from the train station and local bus station.

Nice rooms for a reasonable price”

Vienna Hotel Xiangyang Zhongyuan Road was a nice hotel to stay in. It was centrally located, with easy access to the limited amount of taxis in the city.
