Sana Hotel is an excellent hotel and we had a great stay there. The room was average size but with maximum utilization of space, very Modern, stylist and different from all the standard hotels. High level of cleanness. Wonderful and efficient staff, best breakfast we ever ate, great and quick Room service. Pool and gym are an advantage for us and utilized properly. Location - crosswalk from the subway that can get you anywhere you like and walking distance of 7 minutes towards the best shopping and entertainment street in Berlin. Two more things that were relevant to the week we stayed there- we got "welcome kit" to the room with all kind of treats and that was really nice of them. The second was the WiFi that was important for us; we got it for all the week for free but I understood it's not very expensive anyway.

We stayed in a double room. My husband and I had asked for a double bed, but in true, traditional, European style, we ended up with two single beds pushed together. Actually, I think the room was intended to be a triple room, as there was an extra single bed/couch in the room, which made the room a bit bigger than a regular room. Bonus! The room was furnished with an extra chair, chair and desk, safe, wardrobe with hangers, free bottle of water with drinking glasses, and a bathroom with toilet, shower, sink, hairdryer, soap and shower gel. The room also had a fan, and I'm so thankful it did!!! Even though the windows all had curtains, they didn't seem to keep the sun from streaming in the two skylights and window and turning the room into a sauna. So the fan was very welcome! Breakfast was on from 7am to 9.30am, and would have something for everyone! Tea, coffee, juice, hot food, cold slices, pickles, cereal, toast, spreads, etc etc. A free and easy way to fill up before you head out on your day of exploration! The location is a little further out from the main city attractions than if you were to stay in say the Mitte area, but still very easy to get around. It's only a 5 minute walk or so to the Adenauerplatz UBahn station, and about the same to the Konstanzer Strasse station. The staff were very friendly and the cleaning staff went above and beyond! If we put the do not disturb sign up on our door, they made sure to hang a bag full of fresh towels, toilet paper and a box of tissues just in case. Oh, and the wifi...free wifi! I had no trouble using my phone on the wifi, but when I used my husband's laptop to try to book tickets, etc it was quite slow. I would recommend this hotel who those who appreciate a clean and quiet place to lay their head at night, and to those who love to shop. The hotel is just a hop, skip and jump from the massive, famous, shopping avenue Kurfurstendamm.

while searching for an affordable accom during the itb tourism fair, where room-rates usually triple, i found an extremely attractive rate at this park inn. well, the truth is, as agoda is not very known in europe, the hotel obviously forgot to change their rates to "special-event". the hotel is located somehow on the edge of downtown. from schoenefeld airport, soon to be replaced by bbi airport at the same location, take a train or s-bahn to bahnhof zoo, from where it is a short taxi- or a subway-tram-ride (alight at fehrbelliner platz). the rooms are compact in size, but still comfortable, well-furnished with a working desk and another table and armchair. big bathroom. staff, both at front-desk as well as in the coffee-shop very friendly - berlin is usually a "rough'n'ready" city. as the breakfast was reasonably priced at twelve euro, i gave it a try and it was well worth the money - loved the smoked salmon and the mozzarella. locationwise it is rather in a residential area and therefore quiet at night. my room faced the back of the building and a small park and children's playground. but the "action" is just a few steps by subway-tram away, and even in the vicinity there are a few restaurants and coffee-shops plus supermarket, so you don't need to roam around much if you don't like. overall, a pleasant stay, particularly if you manage to get such a great "early-bird"-rate. recommended for all those who are not shy to use berlin's convenient public transport.

It was clean, quiet, and friendly. The classical German breakfast was wonderful, highly recommended, and well worth the small added cost. Transport is easy: the 249 bus right around the corner takes you to U-Kurfurstendamm station and the U-Uhlandstrasse station is a block away. The hotel is an elegant old building with creaky hallway floors and a marble staircase. The WiFi works. This is a perfect place if you want a German hotel experience and not a clone of a US chain hotel. I will be back.

I was so very surprised to enter a such small room. If it was not for a one night, I would definitely be so angry. The bathroom was also so very small, and shower did not have proper closer and the water can easily be go all over the bathroom. As a couple, we did try to make best out of this hotel rather than complaining. Still, I can not get over such a small room, maybe for one person. However, the design and the cleanness of the room was good, and nice set up for hot chocolate was nice. The staff was very helpful as we asked for a toothpaste, it was right up to our room within a few minute. We were also recommeded a good restraunt around the block which opens until 2A.M. It was a great get away for one night, but I was so glad that I booked another hotel with bigger size for the rest of our stay in Berlin.

Overall, pretty good. I was able to take advantage of a very good rate offered so this made me very favourably disposed towards the hotel. I was not disappointed. Just a few small things annoyed me: one was the fact that the lightbulb on the bedside lamp was blown. I replaced this myself using another bulb from a less essential lamp in the room and placed the used bulb on a table in a prominent position. I noted on day two that house keeping had ignored it. Also I was disturbed quite early in the morning by Room Service, probably due to the fact that there didn't seem to be any 'Do Not Disturb' signage available. Finally, while checking out, I asked at reception if I might print a Boarding Pass. I was directed to a PC in the lobby for the task. I wasted about 15 minutes trying to access my email only to realise that the internet connection wasn't working. When I informed the receptionist she did not show any concern and in fact did not seem very surprised. I wouldn't have minded so much if I had been advised of this possibility in advance and I wouldn't have wasted so much time.

My room at Hotel Carolinenhof was clean and spacious. It overlooked the garden at the back which is lovely. The staff were very helpful and willing to provide information and to mark things on my map. One of the gentleman in particular assisted me to improve my limited German during my stay. The laundry service seemed like good value and my clothes were returned having been well-laundered. The hotel is between stations for two different train lines which made the hotel within easy access of tourist destinations. There are many restaurants, supermarkets and cafes in close proximity. Would recommend this hotel.

I got a good rate for my two nights stay (I have seen that the rates fluctuate dramatically and the room can be easily double as what I paid). The room was clean, bright and mine had a huge balcony to watch "Der Himmel über Berlin" (or as the movie is called in English - "wings of desire" by Wim Wenders, you can not miss to see this old legendary movie) during sunset hours. Sadly no Aircon, but my room did not get too hot and I could open the balcony doors. There is a full-sized kitchenette included and a huge fridge, but oddly no Microwave. The proprietor, who operates a real estate office on the same premises, let me check in early after I had alerted him via phone in advance, which was very much appreciated. For the price I paid, I would not hesitate to return

I stayed in a double room by myself and the oom was very nice. The only thing bithering me were the hinges of the doors, so everytime somebody would open a room door it made pretty loud sound. The house was a bit badly soundproof in general. In front of my window was the city highway which didn't bither me at all as soon as I closed the window. The shared bathroom was clean. They had a nice breakfast. The staff was very nice too, they help whenever they can. The area is very nice, lots of parks and a huge public parking area just acoss the street. I can recommend staying there.

Manager was unhelpful, and dishonest stating that breakfast was 7.5 euro and only stating that it's 5 euros if reserved beforehand when pressed. Staff was rude (a maid glared at my girlfriend for who knows what reason), Walls were thin, and the rooms were loud. People were working with power saws in the hallway and left no clear path. Internet did not work for the first two days, and the manager would not help me find a wifi spot, or ask any of her colleagues who were present at the time (a simple "no"). I was told that I could get no credit for the dead internet since I booked through agoda, though I did get free breakfast for a day (probably because I did not speak with the manager when asking). When I tried to add an extra night, my room price doubled from 27.5 euro one night to 55 euros the next (Thursday night). I was told it would increase even more after that. I was in quite a tough spot and had to look over for an internet spot so that I could find a new hotel. I would only recommend this place if you can get a dirt cheap price (it's only worth about 30 euro in my opinion). Do not assume you can get a similar price if you add nights on.

i stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel is easy to find, a 5 minute walk when you get off the underground. so location is excellent. staff tried to charge me again when i have already paid the room via third party. wifi is not free, if you want to leave you luggage, also not free you have to pay per bag. breakfast not too many selections. room is basic but clean. location is the only best thing about this hotel.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable with a very nice and helping personals. Breakfast is excellent and price is reasonable and is value for money. In a very nice and interesting street. The location is very good, easy to get to other part of city. There are many good restaurant in the street. I am very satisfied in general and specifically, the staff performance.
