Good like before but needs some improvement”

YMCA has recently taken over the nearby Country Inn. Upon booking the Super Deluxe room, I wasn't told that the room would be in the erstwhile Country Inn property (that was a surprise upon arrival). Food was good and staff was courteous like before but some things need improvement like geyser was not functioning, staff was too busy in attending wedding event hosted at YMCA, etc. Good to see them expanding and hope they continue to do well 👍

Excellent stay - highly recommended”

Almost everything is great about YMCA Sattal be it location, food quality, staff response, facilities of parking, firewood, etc. The staff members (especially Deepak) go out of they way to make your stay special. Do remember that this is a campsite and not a luxury hotel - but hospitality standards are 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Only place they can be better is heating systems and clean bedsheets / pillow covers.

In picture they had shown rooms in cottages at groud floor. while they gave room in another building on 3rd floor. Even there was no lift in the building. So, it was little bit difficult for old age people to stay there.

pathetic experience ”

1. Messed up facilities . 2. Untrained staff except one (Rohit). 3. tasteless,stale food 4. Agoda charges 6 K + for an extra bed ( it was added by Agoda to the deal ) but the bed was not provided during the stay. 5. had to wait for three hours , as the hotel folks did not managed the parking. another traveler parked his car ahead of mine and left for a near by place.. it took 3 hours to get his car cleared from the way. :( :( :(

Place for the silence seekers ”

The location is a big plus and being away from the active crowd make this place ideal for family trips, recreational activities and team building practices. The before and after hours of the active lake hours are the best. Place needs a bit of maintenance and I think the staff should start looking at this specially when visitors are with family of young kids. The staff is helpful and Mr. Rohit is always available for anything and everything.

Great place and great view ”

This place is located near to Sattal Lake. It offers great view and as directly connected to lake and has ample of open space. You can play sports. Highly Recommend for group travellers.

Misguided location”

The listing says "YMCA campsite", while the room we got was in a small hotel outside the camp. This hotel was also managed by the YMCA, so they think they can call it a campsite. It isn't. It's just a small hotel/inn with basic facilities.
